BBTB2 frame challenge

Hey All!

Today is my first post as a design team member over at BBTB2! I had so much fun working with the challenge this week, which was to use any Cricut frame with the added challenge of making a layout.

I've had a few of these shadow boxes for awhile and decided to use one for today's project. I printed a photo from my engagement shoot last year onto printable cotton I bought at Joann's. I distressed the edges of the fabric by pulling out some threads and coloring it with Tim Holtz distress ink. The beautiful frame is from the Fancy Frames Cricut Cartridge and I mounted it on some K&Co. paper and then mounted the fabric on cardstock and popped it up on pop dots.

I cut white vinyl and here I have to apologize: I can't remember what cartridge I used! I looked back through my cartridges and there are so many fonts I can't find it again! Please leave a comment if you know what it is : ). Anyway, I stuck it on the front of the glass and added a few rhinestones and voila!

Ingredients:
  • Cricut Cartridges Used: Fancy Frames, font (can't remember which one!)
  • printable cotton: (joann fabric)
  • Shadow box: Michaels
  • patterned paper: K&Co
  • Rose Border photoshop brushes (made by me)
