New Years Resolution

Hey Everyone!

So, i have realized of late that I have been a woefully uncommitted blogger. I think that part of this was due to a lack of vision and direction but lately I have had a renewed passion for the idea because of several reasons:

  1. I got a Cricut Imagine for Christmas from my wonderful husband and have realized that it the best invention in the scrapping world and has completely revolutionized the way I make projects.
  2. I have at times been frustrated by the lack of projects i can find using specific Cricut cartridges. Whenever I am looking to buy a new cartridge, I research the usability of the cartridge and often have a difficult time finding a place where anyone has truly delved deeply into a cartridge and tried to use most of the shapes on each cartridge. There are many, many talented designers who use the Cricut but it is hard to find a one stop shop (as it were) and decided instead of complaining I about it, I could just do it myself! I have a ton of cartridges and many of them I haven't even touched, let alone explored in depth.

So, that being said, here is the concept of my new blog: I will be going through each cartridge in my library in alphabetical order and doing an in-depth exploration of the images. I can't promise I will use every image, but I will use most.

WARNING: I am primarily a card-maker. I have never done scrapbooking but have completed many projects using vinyl, fabric, metal, and even wood with my cricut and will be incorporating some of these ideas in and alongside my cards. However, I am extremely open and would love to try out any materials, techniques, or ideas that you would like to see

Let the adventure begin!

Here's to the creative journey.
