I'm super excited to share a project with you using my new clipart set: Art Nouveau Flowers! This set is a little different because I'm experimenting with including Silhouette cutting files! I have lots of cutting files available in the original clipart section of my shop but I love the idea of being able to print and cut my vintage clipart as well. Let me know if this is something you all would use and I will look into adding the die cutting capabilities with more of my vintage clipart sets.
I have take a little moment to rave about the Silhouette Cameo's cutting abilities. Just look at the detail on these cuts! The poppy is only about 4" tall and it cut perfectly....I have to be honest, I wasn't expecting it to turn out this well.
I added some stickles glitter glue on the edges of the petals to give it some sparkle. The finishing touch was a dupioni silk bow. I'm really looking forward to trying out more of these files!

ReplyDeleteHey Tangle! Wow! I just popped in to see how you are and you've been busy! Congrats on publishing! I'm still using my Cricut, especially with Make The Cut, but I'm very interested in the Cameo. Those poppies are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThank you for another great article. Where else could anyone get that kind of information in such a perfect way of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I am on the look for such information.
