BBTB2 Rose Challenge

Hey All!

I'm back for another week of BBTB2 Challenges! The challenge this week was to use a rose cut and so I pulled out my Cricut Art Nouveau Cartridge and decided to do an all-white project. I haven't done one before but I have to say that I'm in love with simplicity and elegance of it.

I did a lot of texturing using a rubber mat and an embossing stylus on the leaves and flowers so the layers would stand out. The background is embossed with a Sizzix plate and the sentiment was just printed on my printer. Has anybody else experimented with the all-white style?

I also wanted to share with you a bit of what I've been doing on my Etsy shop. I found a collection of these wonderful old photographs of movie and stage stars from the 20s and decided to restore them and offer them on my Etsy shop. I have a ton more to go through but here are a few.

These would be great for collage or just framing. They are almost all 8" tall and 300 dpi so they are perfect for resizing. There are other shops on Etsy that sell the same kinds of things MsAlisEmporium is one that I found particularly inspirational. Don't forget, all my blog followers get a 10% discount if you use the coupon code FANLOVE at checkout!

Enjoy!
