Cricut Art Nouveau Bee Project

Hey All!

Be sure to tune in tomorrow for the "Sticking Around" Blog hop! Cissy and Fran over at The Cissy and Fran show have a fun prize valued at over $150! I will also be adding a little prize of my own: A $10 coupon to my Etsy shop : ). So be sure to hop by!

Today I have a card made for the bee or ladybug challenge over at Bitten By the Bug 2. I love these challenges, it makes me explore cartridges and images that I might not otherwise!

For my project I used one of my very favorite cartridges, the Cricut Art Nouveau cartridge. I used the hide contour feature in Cricut Craft Room to make some of the layers and the base cut as one layer. I love the versatility that CCR has brought to us Cricuteers.
The papers are from My Mind's Eye "Sunshine" Collection. They are so beautiful and shabby, I love how they coordinate so perfectly together.

Ingredients
  • Cricut Cartridge: Art Nouveau (Bee)
  • patterned paper: My Mind's Eye Lost and Found "Sunshine"
  • Martha Stewart border punch
  • Midori Dupioni Ribbon
  • Zacoo.com resin rose
  • Tim Holtz Distress ink "Vintage Photo"
  • head pins and beads

  1. I really like this cartridge too. I haven't used this cut or explored the Craft Room, but this looks so great! I may need to try this myself, maybe with a similar cut from the same cart.

    As always fabulous job,

    Colin
